Why choose vacation in India?

India is one of the most controversial countries in the world. Bollywood produces more films than Hollywood, skyscrapers in downtown Delhi coexist with gigantic slums where many people live under bridges or in boxes, and the piety of local people conflicts with insane beach parties in Goa. In India, one cannot count ancient temple and palace complexes; people come here for enlightenment, practicing yoga or ayurveda, or for an excellent beach holiday.

One of the most sought-after tourist destinations in India is the Golden Triangle, spanning several cities, the most notable of which are Agra, Jaipur and Delhi. It is here that the most important religious objects have been preserved: palaces, temples, tombs. It is impossible to imagine India without the state of Goa, with its calm and picturesque southern beaches and trance parties all night long in the north.

One of the country’s oldest temple complexes is the Qutab Minar in Delhi, founded in the 12th century. Nearby stands the majestic snow-white marble Tomb of Hamayun, it is interesting to see the country’s largest Jama Masjid mosque of the 17th century. In Jaipur, the main monuments are the Palace of Winds and the central Palace complex located on a vast territory.

Holidays in India are best planned for the period from the beginning of October to the end of March, at this time there are rare rains, the sea is calm and warm, and the air rarely warms above 35 degrees. The hottest time, when to be in the fresh air, especially in large cities, is practically impossible, lasts from April to June, after which, for the next three months, rains, winds, and the sea are storming.

In India, there are frequent cases of theft of personal belongings both in places where tourists gather, for example, at sights and on beaches, therefore valuable items should not be left unattended, and large sums of money should be kept in a hotel safe. Also in India it is not recommended to visit states close to Bangladesh. In general, in the country, especially in tourist areas, fairly safe.

Climate, geography and weather
